Radiation Oncologists

Finally you have a reliable tool that can help you track the extent of your patient's disease, then use the data obtained to boost treatment for a particular area. Optionally, you also have the option of using a lighter dosimetry around critical structures.

What Artemis does is very simple. It helps precisely guide the biopsy needle where you want it, then tracks and records where the bx core was taken. This allows you, or the urologist, to:

  • Design a precision biopsy template
  • Precisely navigate where you want to go
  • Record where actual biopsies are taken
  • Use a 3D pathology model for planning and communicating with patients
  • Use previously-recorded sites for repeat biopsy options, such as overlaying a previous volume with biopsy sites, resampling bx sites, sampling different sites, or saturating a particular area

Artemis also has an MR/ultrasound fusion feature that lets you:

  • Obtain a patient MR study, with or without enhancements such as perfusion, in advance of a bx study
  • Annotate areas of interest and record them to disc
  • Load recorded discs in Artemis and fuse the MR data to a live ultrasound study, thereby identifying areas of interest to precisely sample
