Electrical Engineer
Eigen located in California is seeking a full time Electrical Engineer/ Technician - a candidate who is self motivated and a very good team player and has ability to work in research and product development environments in industry while in collaborations with University Hospitals or Clinical environments.
Education Requirements/Experience: "BS in EE with hands-on experience working with PCBs, electrical wiring, controls and instrumentation". Familiarity with electrical standards highly desirable. Ability to test and debug electrical connections in medical devices. The candidate will be expected to do hands-on work during prototype developments for high-tech medical imaging products. Candidates with Associate degree and substantial relevant experience will also be considered. Maintenance or service experience with video processing equipment and/or medical imaging equipment such as ultrasound is a strong plus. Knowledge about 60601, ultrasound, X-rays, DICOM standards, medical device instrumentation, documentation for verification and validation procedures is helpful.
Salary Range: Standard with very competitive salary package commensurate with experience.
